With the cold weather cruising our way, priorities are shifting. Keeping it cozy is all the craze. Farnam is starting out November with a BANG! We are ending our week, and starting our month with a big sell, on Sheffield avenue. Our office is always so electric with energy! There is almost no slowing down around here. Agents and coworkers bounce from room to room, humming about the latest listings, running in and out to showings, open houses and the occasional much needed, work lunch. Hey, we all run on fuel. Realtors need to eat too…and so do you.
The Elm City is our slice of life, and you can’t ask for a better place in the world to grab a slice while you’re here…or a burger, or a brew. Hell, why limit yourself. In a city full of possibilities, we see no need for you to hold back. That is why we ask you to join us in experiencing the finer tastes of New Haven as we enter Restaurant Week! November 3rd, to the 8th embrace culture, diversity and the finer foods of our city, with us. More than 30 restaurants will be participating! We are all more than a little excited to experience our favorite restaurants, like Alex, who can’t get enough of Barcelona. She’ll need the energy, as she never stops working and climbing higher every day! While there, she may run into Carol to celebrate another one of our recent closings. She is the definition of putting in the extra hours, and her success really shows it. If she isn’t celebrating at Barcelona Wine Bar she will be at her other favorite spot, Roía. Personally, I can never turn down a romantic night at Tre Scalini, with my favorite waiter who is always humming a Sinatra tune to himself. And who can resist indulging in a cheat meal at Caffe Bravo. As for Jenny, well she likes to think that Shell and Bones is her little secret, but not this week Jen, they’re featured as well!
One thing that these restaurants and Farnam have in common, besides great style, is the entrepreneurial spirit. You can not capitalize on a successful business without that. November 12th a few of us will be attending Food Entrepreneurship in New Haven and beyond: A conversation with Yong Zhao, founder of Junzi. We love to see the fire that others possess for business and their passions. We look forward to hearing such an influential restaurateur and his pearls of wisdom in the food, and business industry.

Their staff is just as fun, funky and fresh as the food they make everyday! Whether they are serving us their everything everything bagel, (you read that right) or their insanely delicious and creative dinner specials, Farnam Group loves a pick me up from our neighbors at Olmo, located just around the corner from us. Go in, say hi, and tell them we sent you! Don’t forget to pick us up something either.
